Experience: Taught High School courses in child development, family dynamics, and
interpersonal communications designed to meet the needs of at-risk students. Consultant and group therapist for parents and families
struggling with bonding problems, eating disorders, and gender identity issues.
Non-profit administrator in clinical and educational settings serving
populations adapting to developmental delays, neurological conditions,
substance abuse recovery, and mental health
challenges. From 2006 to 2011, managed parenting prevention and
intervention services in Ohio and Kentucky with LifePoint Solutions
(Family Service), from the Price Hill neighborhood of
Cincinnati Ohio.
Why I enjoy tech-reach: I enjoy working in Price Hill,
in concert with residents, schools and community
organizations that support healthy growth and change. As Director at tech-reach,
I've joined the Elder
High School team committed to extending
the school's educational and technology resources to neighborhood adults, children
and community groups - helping participants expand job prospects,
improve academic achievement, and enhance communication

Name: Sherrie Kline
Position: Instructor for Word, Excel, Internet & Computer Basics, Access, and
Outlook
Degree: Bachelor of Arts, Miami University; Master of Library Science,
Vanderbilt University; Master of Public Administration, University of
Cincinnati
Areas of study: French, Library Science, Public Admin.
Experience: 6 years experience as computer systems/software instructor at Cinergy,
and many years experience teaching library patrons how to take advantage of
computers in libraries
Why I enjoy tech-reach: The most rewarding thing is to see students learn, and find
out how their new knowledge will be useful in their jobs and in everyday life. I
especially enjoy working with adult students, because they are in the class because
they are enthused about learning, and not just because they are required be
there.

Name: Jane Sheehan
Position: Instructor for PowerPoint and MS Word
Degree: Associates Degree, Raymond Walters College
Areas of study: Business
Experience: For the last 5 years, I have been teaching Microsoft Office courses,
for the business division of a local insurance company that includes 500 employees.
I work in the Training and Development department for this company, but am also
very involved in other community programs as well.
Why I enjoy tech-reach: I have really enjoyed the classes that I have facilitated
at tech-reach. Each class has a unique group of students. It is energizing to
witness each person developing their confidence and skills with a computer and
determine how it can be put to use for them. I am inspired with each class and
learn something new each session

Name: Kim Kelley
Position: Instructor for Keyboarding for Computer Use Degree:
High School from Dixie Heights High School
Experience:
I am the Assistant Librarian for Elder High School
and also the Administrative Assistant for tech-reach. I also worked for
over 10 years as a Legal Secretary for a large downtown firm with my main
responsibility being transcribing legal documents from recorded tapes
which strengthened my typing skills from high school.
Why I enjoy tech-reach:
I enjoy being involved with tech-reach because I feel like I am making a
difference. Our world is so technology-driven and it feels so good to
help others who are here because they really want to learn. Everyone is
always so nice and appreciative of what we do at tech-reach. Meeting new
people is an added bonus!
